Received a msg on my Samsung S111, requesting a software update, which I did, to my stupidity, once done, it has now changed icons, does things that it never did and the icons and notification of msg or incoming calls just does not work any more. I called the call centre, and was told that I have to go in at one of their stores to have the software removed and reactivated again. Went to Samsung @ Clearwaters on Thursday only to be told that the technicians only work till 5. Went back on Saturday, I black female technician, was called to assist me. Explained to her, she asked me if I have a memory card in the phone, told her no, do they have to sell, can she then assist me to do full backup of my phone, so that I do not loose any information [sms, contacts, photos etc] proceeds to tell me that they do not have the means or the time to assist me. I must go home do a full back up and come back to her to clear my phone and reinstall software. Explained to her can I not bring my laptop and she can assist me, as I am afraid to do the wrong thing again, her answer was NO. I find this so unprofessional, are the staff not trained or are they just plain lazy...
