3 Calls, still no response after 8 days!!!

Electronics and household app.

I did a software update on my Galaxy S3 via KIES. Since then my phone cant connect to the network. The reason is the fact it corrupted my IMEI number. This means NO sim in the world can work in this phone anymore. I was asked to take it to Samsung repair center in Boxburg. They told me straight away they cant help me till they repair the minor crack in my screen at R2500.

I was shocked at this. The phone worked 100% fine before the rubbish update broke it. Now i must pay R2500 for them to fix an issue their software broke. This is ridiculous beyond words. I called back to log a new call and made a point of stating that this phone worked fine till KIES broke it. Now i have to pay.

Lerato promised she will escalate this and i will be contacted within 48 hours. This was on 24th of April.
I'm still waiting to hear from someone. I have now gone without a phone for 1 week, Samsung don't seem to care much though.

Shocking service. I'm appalled.

Its also such a pity as I'm such a fan of Samsung. I wont ever use a different phone unless this doesn't get resolved soon.
