Pathetic after-sales and repairs: DON'T BUY SAMSUNG

6 weeks and counting to get a big-ticket Samsung item repaired? Way too much spend on your advertising Samsung and not nearly enough on your customer service. 6 weeks ago my R11, 000 Samsung fridge which was barely 2 months old needed repairs. Samsung has 2 local service providers for repairs "looking after" the Melville area. And the guys I ended up with are small time hacks who can barely spell customer-care let alone keep you posted on their progress or return a call. I predict Samsung will fail dismally based on the fact that they are prepared to leave their brand reputation in the care of such utter and incompetenet. And Samsung, your call centre is not a of a lot better. You see Samsung (even if by some small miracle I acually get my fridge back in working order someday) I will tell every person I come into contact with to NEVER EVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT, unless you can prove that you've redirected at least some of your marketing towards client care and you've fired a whole bunch of clearly incompetent staff and service providers. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY SAMSUNG and it gives me great joy to post this to all my social media platforms.
