My Samsung S4 battery swelled up and started resetting my phone. The next day I walked into the Samsung shop in Century City, and the lady at the front desk replaced my battery in front of me, and asked me to sign something, and in less than 2 minutes I was out of there with a repaired phone. No cost to me, no proof of ownership, or wanting to see my original contract.
In addition to this, on another occasion, my wife's phone was dropped and the screen cracked, and front camera broke. This was covered under Samsung's warranty, and after handing in the phone after 16:00, it was ready the next day in the morning.
Well done, Samsung. This is how it should be done.
