MY TV IS NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS OLD

I purchased a 46 inch samsung LED TV in november last year in Makro woodmead. The Tv does not come on ever since a week i have tried switching it on and off, read the manual, i googled it, and it says there is something wrong with the battery? The red light is on, but the TV does not come on, when u press the remote.
I am very unhappy, cos I cannot get through to the callcentre, been holding for 15 minutes.! I cannot watch TV.
I am NOT going to drive with this TV to Makro, i dont have the box any longer, as I live in a small apartment, and the TV is already mounted on the wall. I have no one to asssist me remove it either.
I have the slip and invoice. Its a brand new TV.
Please send someone to assist urgently.
