Giving wrong info and tv not repaired after 3 week

I have bought a Samsung tv from Makro in August last. With the purchase i was told that should me tv break down in the first year a would be replaced with a new one. When my tv did not want to switch on, my wife phoned Makro where she was told that it was only for the first 6 months. They contact Samsung and Samsung contacted me saying that they would be sending out a technician to see if they could repair our tv at home, but only Pretoria TV repairs was send out where they just took the tv. A week later (2 weeks ago) whe had to contact Samsung to found out what was taking so long. According to Samsung a switch was needed, they ordered that same day (only week later after sent in) and that it would be fixed at the soonest. Last week i send an email to Samsung to ask what was taking so long. my email was read, but no response. I phoned Samsung on tuesday, where i was told that the main board broked down and had to be replaced (different story again). My wife emailed yesterday (Wednesday) and was told they would contact us. No phone call back again. 3 weeks later and still no brand new tv back. I want to be refunded, not replaced, due to the bad service and quality of Samsung tv' s!!!
