Faulty Eveready AA Powerplus gold batteries

After purchasing an 8 pack of Eveready AA batteries from Pick & Pay in Durbanville, several problems were encountered.

Because of the DStv HD decoder not responding to the remote control signals, the batteries were changed, but the same problems occured again two weeks later. This was experienced again two weeks later after replacing the batteries. We were convinced the problem was caused by a faulty HD Decoder, and had it replaced, at our cost.

The remote mouse of the laptop also stopped functioning three weeks after replacing the battery.

I stated in my quality complaint on 14/10/2013 to eveready, that the battery lifespan of their batteries was previously normally months in these units.

Eveready requested my address to replace the batteries, but to date no delivery has been made. The fact is still that their bad quality batteries led to us replacing the DStvHD decoder at R1000, as we could not correct the functionality of the decoder after three battery changes.

The empty promises from Eveready is so typical of the lack of service experienced from most service providers in this country.

I would like to determine whether they are ISO 9001 certified???
