Supplier keep on lying to me about delivery

I ordered a 3kw inverter from SA Importers on the 9 October 2013. After paying the inverter in advance, there delivery time was 7 to 10 working days. After the elapsed period, no inverter was available. The supplier started giving all kinds of BS reasons why the stock was not avaiable. The 1st was that the overseas supplier used a new shipping company which shipped the goods back to China instead of South-Africa. Then the shipment was found and then lost again, apparently. Then a new shipment was ordered. It was said that the shipment arrived in Durban and will be available within a day or two. Then they said they are negotiating with another supplier to get stock. After that it was said the containers are now with the supplier and being unloaded. I was promised a reply before end of business yesterday, the 5 december 2013, and up to now no reply. This is the worst company I ever dealt with in my live.
