Electronics and household app.

I bought an iPod in London. After about a month and half of use the screen started giving issues. I called the iStore (Owned and run by The CORE) at the V&A Waterfront Cape Town and asked them the process on how to get the iPod replaced. Quote: "Unless you bought it in SA or declared it to SARS when you arrived back, we will not honor Apple's Global Warranty." So i stated that in London Apple said they have a global warranty. iStore response " We aren't part of Apple and we don't honor their warranty".

1stly the iPod cost less than R2000 which is below SARS declaration amount, which means i don't have to declare it. The Item has to be more than R5000. So i took it to Digicape and they sorted it out with a big smile, amazing help and 10 days later i received a new iPod. From now on i will do all my purchases at Didgcape. I have also placed a comment on my Facebook page, letting people know of the horrendous bad attitude of iStore SA.
