Electronics and household app.
I bought a pixma ip100 printer from Canon Midrand in August. About 2 weeks ago I decided to use it for the first time. After installing the software and trying to print a error 5100 kept being displayed. I then called the operations manager, Brian Herzfield, then only after 2 emails and a call did he respond to say that he's technical department will be in contact with me. After about 2 hours a very unhelpful guy by the name of Craig called me. He then said to me its a software problem and said I should maybe try downloading the software on another machine. He also said that if it doesn't work then its not his problem and I need to speak to Brian. After doing what Craig asked and it not working I contacted Brian again via email. After another 3 emails again over a week I got a call from some lady in the technical department with a bad attitude. Her response was basically: "This is not our problem, we got a technician to call you". I was told that they cannot get a technician to me. The call was then transferred back to Brian. He told me that hey cannot send a technician to me for a machine that was bought once off and doesn't have a service agreement.
