I Purchased a fridge from a retailer more than 18 months ago. A particular problem occurred repeatedly while in the warranty which LG cam on site to fix. This problem occurred more than 3 times and after some insistence LG decided to exchange the unit. I supplied all the necessary documentation and got an email from a guy at LG stating that all is in order and a lady will take care of the rest. 6 months elapsed and I had not heard from anyone. I emailed the guy that and had no response for a week. I then called LG who told me that guy had left 6 months ago. Strange they don't delete or monitor ex employees profiles. Finally they have agreed to credit the Fridge instead of exchange. This leaves me in a situation where I have to pay the difference to get the replacement model. I need the fridge so I am already in the process with the retailer who really went out of their way to assist but I am utterly disgusted at LG's response. I feel that I should the Fridge should be exchanged as the unit I purchased clearly severely problematic.
