Still waiting for problem to be resloved

Electronics and household app.

A long and tiresome issue. Lots of info, so will try keep it summarised and clear.
I purchased a TV set around 2 years ago. About 14 months after that (December 2012), the screen started showing discoloured lines across the top 5th or so of the screen.
Earlier this year (Jan or Feb) I had it checked at a local, Samsung affiliated technician, which had a report of cannot be repaired. Quote rejection fee in the hundreds...
I got through to Samsung telephonically for more info. As the screen had problems for seemingly no reason (no knocks or drops or power surges, also which the technician couldn't understand), it must've been faulty. I missed the warranty by 2 months.
I remained in email contact with Sylvester Gadlela. Eventually, I could try for depreciation.
Communication was/is FRUSTRATING. Weeks would go by without action, and only after I pressed and pressed again!
After months, I would need to let another company (Liptronics), who I assume were allocated by Sylvester, have a look. I was told fees for this would be taken care of.
I have eventually rejected depreciation as it's too expensive. I don't have my TV back and Sylvester is not responding to messages. WORST SERVICE!!
