A week ago I was requested to upgrade software on my Samsung S2, I duly did. From that moment on, I have very bad battery life. I called the Samsung call center, spoke to Sipho and his manager Thabo. Sipho told me that yes, in fact the "Jelly bean" update was faulty on the S2 phones, but sorry, " you have to take the phone 400km to East London or Port Elizabeth to a repair centre". I live in Middelburg in the Karoo. They don't care about the customer. They don't have a solution for me, nor a replacement phone for the time it takes to courrier it to and from a big city, never mind the courrier costs! Sorry Samsung, but this is horrific! You are able to sell your products nation wide, but when the items are faulty, you couldn't care less. Neither I nor anyone who hears mer will ever purchase a Samsung again if this is the level of service given to a customer of an expensive phone.
