3 weeks on and I still have no feedback

Electronics and household app.

I sent my Onkyo HT receiver in for repairs, to be told that it would probably cost around R2500 to replace a DSP board (gave me the impression that they received such returns regularly) but they would give me a quote once the supplier service center has gotten back to them. I got cal a few days later confirming that the DSP board needed replacing and I had two options - replace the board or re-route the digital audio through optical or co-ax. this meant that the fault analysis was not conducted thoroughly since I had already tried the second option and it didn't work. Three weeks on since I had sent it in, and Jaco has still not gotten back to me with any feedback (no communication since the worthless suggestions)
