Hi,

My Garmin Nuvii Battery packed up and Garmin state they don't supply batteries for their devices. They suggested I should trade my Nuvii in for a new model. This new model turned out more expensive than I could get at various retail outlets. Over seas batteries for Garmin devices is freely available, why not here?

I also requested a support request because my new Nuvii indicated that the R25 dual carriage way is an unpaved road which is utterly nonsense. Because of this, I cannot use the Nuvii when my route is via the R25 as it directs me via Tembisa Township and Annandale road as it considers the R25 as a avoidance road.

This is now more than a week later and still no feedback from Garmin which is extremely frustrating - no SUPPORT or INTEREST.

I am now considering getting rid of my Nuvii for a Tom Tom.
