Garmin Nuvi 3590 GPS is a total waste of money

The new range of Garmin GPS products is a total waste of money. I have had a Nuvi 710 for many years and it worked very well. Roll on the new generation GPS with all the bells and whistles - And that is where it stops. When you plot a route it will take you on a big detour most of the time. It never takes you on the fastest time wise route.

I have dealt with support both locally and overseas over a period of almost a year. I have had the unit swopped out, reset and reconfigured but to no avail. I also have a Garmin Triathlon watch which has given me endless problems.

Garmin customer support is shocking. All they do is pass the buck. I have now taken this up with the consumer council. Never will I purchase Garmin products again and I will ensure that I warn everyone.
