I am a part time student who works full time. Two years ago, I registered and paid for the full year modules in advance.

In mid year, before the second semester, my work informed me that I need to go over seas for about 3 months. I contacted unisa via email to discuss the matter and to find out if I could under the circumstances postpone or cancel (get my money back) my second semester. They just refused and I lost almost R2000. Why should I be penalized for paying where I just could have registered for second semester.

Last year I received someone else's assignment instead of mine and this year I have been trying to find out when I will know if I have been approved for the bursary I applied for without any response to my emails.

Not even to mention my friend who last week only received his registration status, after most assignments have reached their deadlines already.

It is so frustrating cause they are so quickly to take your money but most of the people I have been dealing with is so incompetent, we pay for service as well as content!
