Requiring Excemptions from Unisa - no assistance

I have previously been registered with UKZN (year 2004), and due to financial reasons could not continue my studies. Due to not having this money, my academic record was not released. At UKZN i was studying BCOM Marketing and was completing 3rd year modules. I have recently managed to pay of my fees with UKZN and my academic record issued - which i have taken to Unisa (this morning). This was requested from Unisa in order to exempt me from certain subjects i have completed. Unisa has advised me they will only give me exceptions from my first year and i will have to redo all 2nd & 3rd year modules. i am currently a student of Unisa studying towards a BCOM HR, & I think this ludicrous as there are many modules i have already completed and Unisa wants me to redo. The advisers at Unisa are off no help! They just said we do not credit for 2nd and 3rd modules, and i have to do them again. Why request my academic record from UKZN if they not going to use it, and put me out of my way financially to get this!! My entire meeting with the advisors has put a damper on my studies, and makes an individual lose hope in their future and their studies. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
