It is ridiculous that I receive an SMS today, to say that I must pay an outstanding amount to avoid legal action! Then when I call, the amount is for 4 months, R234.92.
I did the unfortunate thing of tossing the packaging the books came in, hence sent an email to the advertising company (I still have this) who then sent me a link to Star Achievers website. I forwarded the email and again, unfortunate for me, I did not keep it, but I can guarantee it was sent on the same day.
How is it, that I have been battling to get the details of WHAT to send back (the advertising co advised in the email to keep two books together with the backpack which I also advised I did not receive) and where to send the books I no longer want. I spoke to a lady at the offices (don't know her name, didn't take it as I was not expecting this!) who was going to mail me the details, before sending back the goods. To date: Nothing! The books are lying in the box (without the courier packaging) on top of my fridge which is also why I've forgotten about this. They've never been read. I refuse to pay for something I've never used, nor received any further details to choose more when they feel "I've joined".
