Too Exclusive to give customer service

On 19 March I received an order payment confirmation for two books. The door-to-door delivery date was set at 1 April.

On 2 April I had still not received the books. The tracking system on their website gave a waybill number but indicated that the said waybill could not be found on the system. Several fruitless phone calls followed. All information tendered was that the books had been dispatched on 27 March. I then sent an e-mail on 3 April.

On 6 April Thabo Linda replied by e-mail that the couriers could find nobody to receive the parcel, but it would be delivered on Tuesday (9 April). I reject this spurious allegation with the contempt it deserves. As a GUESTHOUSE there is ALWAYS someone on duty.

On 10 April I tried the website but it is undergoing maintenance. I then once again phoned customer service (at about 09:00) and after a call of six minutes they informed me that they would call me back.

To date, 14:00 on 11 April, I have not received the books or the promised phone call.

It appears that books from Exclusive Books are so exclusive that customers are not allowed to read them.
