Varsity College
MODULE PACER AND ASSIGNMENT DATES NOT COHERENT

Education & Science

I am writing to Hello Peter as I am extremely frustrated and hope to get a positive reaction from here.

I am a Corporate Communications (BACC 2) student at Varsity College, Westville. We have received two (2) assignments that is due during our test week running from 2 September 2013 to 13 September 2013.

As a class we have requested the possibility of the assignment due dates being extended (due 5 September 2013 and 11 September 2013).

Unfortunately we got a response from our Head of Department saying that the IIE (Independent Institute of Education) have declined our request and is refusing an extension on the due dates as there is apparently no time.

Fortunately we had to hear this morning that the BCOM students' assignments and tests have had extended due dates!

As a class we feel that it is unfair from Varsity College and the IIE to expect of us as students to complete assignments on work that have not yet been discussed, as the time frame of the assignment dates and module pacer is not coherent.

I hope to receive positive feedback.

Kind Regards,
Anri Strydom
