Stupid policies to siphon your money

I've studied with Milpark for years and I have recently completed my diploma. I was told I could apply for applicable exemptions for a new degree at a cost of R450. After 2 months of no response I queried this and was surprised to hear the exemptions I paid for were never granted. I was then told that the fee was not refundable. Had I known that when you apply for an exemption you are gambling on something you may or may not qualify I would have addressed such a silly policy before wasting my money. How can you pay R450 to see if you qualify and lose your money if you don't? I could maybe understand if I studied with another institution but I was applying for subjects completed at Milpark! After the incident the consultant had the audacity to say that it was obvious there was no similarity in the subjects but if so why take my money in the first place? A manager was supposed to call a week ago to address this. I am still waiting...
