Unfair Process

I am a registered Bcom in banking student and have registered for 3 subjects' received notifications to write my accounting assignment and online test.a close relative passed on and during that time 2 of my online tests where due but I was not in a good state of mind. I phoned the registration department. I was advised to submit special request to write my online test, while I'm busy trying to obtain a death certificate I receive an sms informing me that I do not qualify to write my final test . why did they ask me to complete and email form that they confirm to have received and still decline my request? Now I must loose R5300? Milpark Business School is really unreasonable. I need to be assisted please
