I have emailed Unisa 3 times since the end of April regarding my teaching prac and I have still not received any response. I am so tired of your 'non-care' attitude and the poor service that students like me, who have no other choice but to study through correspondence, have to put up with. Enough is enough - whats worse is that you have the cheek to go on a strike for a pay increase - surely an increase is only if you have worked hard to deserve it?!? That's how it works in most other institutions. Your lack of service and care for your students is nothing less than disgusting - we are the people that pay your salaries at the end of every month and still you couldn't care! Something has to change within your organisation and fast! The lack of communication from the lecturers is even more disturbing - surely in an institution offering studies through correspondence ONLY must ensure lectures are pro-active on the MyUnisa site as well as respond to queries by email! Bring back your call centre - your email system is nothing short of useless! Please let me know whether my DSAR 25 form has been received by fax as requested with a dash of speed! I sent it well over a month ago!!!
