Drain Surgeon
Poor Service

We had a blockage in the washing machine drain pipe and my wife called Drain Surgeon to come out and possibly clear the blockage. The appointment was made for 15:00 on the 28th March 2013. They arrived an hour late and first told my wife that there is nothing they can do because the pipe is blocked. After some persuasion they tried for all of about 15 minutes and said sorry nothing can be done except for replacing the pipe which is in a wall behind a brand new kitchen. The call out fee was R680 which we paid.

I arrived home a little while later and phoned their office to leave a message for the plumber to call me back because I was not happy with their service. It was the Easter weekend so I waited but received no call back. The Easter weekend must have been their reason for being in such a hurry at after 4pm to finish up. I emailed the company on the 8th April and someone did phone me to organize a re inspection. However the same plumber had to come out to do the work (he couldn't fix it in the first place!!).

We didn't have the time for someone to come out and in the interim I was able to clear the blockage myself using a colleagues draining rods and a mild acid solution!!
