Goods quoted will not work

We requested a quote from Windovert Port Elizabeth for wooden blinds and we were sent the quote accordingly. After paying the required deposit I received the following e-mail (verbatim) from Zena at Windovert PE

"I just have to bring the following to your attention that the blinds at the French doors due to the height of 1840, and the Product being 25mm Wood, will not close 100% as the top half. The bottom 1/3 will not close 100% as per top half. This is a lounge area, and the only product suitable for the doors. The alum ven 25mm woodgrain will close 100%. Please confirm that you are happy with this, to enable me to proceed by
placing the order. Thank you for your deposit."

We specifically asked for wooden blinds, so why was this issue not brought up before issuing a quote for wooden blinds and only now after a deposit has been paid?
