Charmaine Schonfeldt gave us a quotation on painting/repairing our roof in Aug 2011. She arrived eagerly selling herself, the product and the company - the solution to our roof problems! The job was done with assurance of a 10 year guarantee on the work. A month later we noticed a roof leak. After many calls and emails it soon became clear we were dealing with a very aggressive and arrogant bunch who think that they can simply ignore their clients hoping that they will simply go away. We persisted and the team eventually came to fix the leak but rains a few weeks later showed that the leak had not been fixed. We had to nag again, 2 months later the team returned but the rains showed that the leak had again not been fixed. After many calls and emails again the team came with the boss in tow - Mr J L Steenkamp. Once again we were told that everything was fixed. Third time lucky? No, we still have a leaky roof and now the roof paint is actually peeling! To date it's been 6 months of chasing this new issue. We called Charmaine today and advised of proceeding to take this up with HELLOPETER. We were told not to threaten her. Protec's contract is not worth the paper it is printed on.
