Peter The Plumber

I live overseas but have a tenanted flat where things can & will go wrong, plumbing-wise. I've tried a number of plumbers over the years (some super-scary) but have come to rely on Peter as I am sure to get the service I need. He comes over, assesses the situation & provides feedback that is informative of both the nature of the problem & how to solve it.

The last intervention was a very simple one of leaking. The previous intervention was a burst geyser. Our complex has insurance cover for burst geysers & he was gentlemanly enough to admit that the price I would pay through the insurer's contract plumber would be more worth my while. He recommended that I rather went with the other plumber to save the damage to my pocket. I really appreciated his honesty about the matter.

As many people will know, plumbers are without question COD service providers. Peter allows me to pay by EFT after scanning & emailing me the invoice. I am sure that this is not his normal practice but I guess that he makes an exception for me, considering the circumstances.
