Faulty Tap

I Purchased a Lusso, Kitchen mixer tap a few months ago, the tap is leaking at the bottom into the cupboard, i had a plummer over, changed the hot and cold flexible pipes, still leaks, he confirmed that the fap has a manufacture fault.
i live in Standerton, Mpumalanga and took the tap to Builders 300km single and return trip, explained to the consultant the problem and he said i that builders will send over their own plumer for installation and confirmation, he took the receipt no and details, i had no response.
the tap costs R800.00 and i live 300km away...???
The consultant was too much in a hurry to handle my problem, as he was too busy trying to get rid of me, i don't know if he knows where Standerton is. This has become a very costly exercise for me.
