Dodgy dealer doesn't live up to promises

Brian from Living Walls agreed to construct two vertical gardens on my rain water harvesting tanks. This was to be photographed and written about in a step-by-step article in a leading gardening magazine. After weeks of conversations and promises, when it came time to pin him down to an actual date, he never returned calls or emails. This was for a job that was to bring him good publicity. I wouldn't trust him to do a paid job if this is how he treated a journalist. On a deadline I contracted another company who did the job. Brian eventually returned my phone calls and when I said we had gone with someone else, he tried to blame his lack of service on the fact that the practice tank he had requested had been delivered late. This made no sense as his company has already installed a vertical garden on the identical model tank.
The company that finally did the vertical gardens didn't need a 'practice tank'. They worked off the dimensions and photos I emailed them and in one day installed two beautiful vertical gardens on my tanks. Brian in the meantime delivered nothing but lots of Canadian hot air. Buyer beware.
