I was treated like a criminal

Ought a sprinkler with a 2 year guarantee. stopped working after 6 months. took it in to returns. made to wait 15 mins.
there after marcus came to return dept to speak to me but he was not speaking he was shouting at me demanding to know" where is the spring from here"
i explained that the item looked the same as the day i bought it and that there was no spring there
he still insisted and shouted at me further
i was shaking so badly i was nearly in tears
i was told that the item could not be replaced because i had bought it when it had been discounted
i then said that i bought a item with a 2 yr guarantee and that i expect to get at least 2 yrs use from it
he then proceeded to yell at the lady behind the counter "she is arguing too much, give her one, give her one"
i was made to feel that i was a criminal in this store, i just wanted was due to me
