MEG INTERIORS-Worst renovations

We had the worst experience with renovators Martin and Elaine Gouws of MEG Interiors.
We have bought an old house around Garsfontein and had these chaps help us renovate. We got them off the Internet and by the look of their website, we thought they will be able a deliver a good renovation project.
We paid close to R100, 000.00 for a project, whereby we thought that these guys were specialists and what they did is to give us a handy man that did everything and quoted and invoiced us on specialist rate. The workmanship was incompetent, and touch ups we not done adequately and all they did is to bring us additional defects rather than delivering quality work, phases dates were postponed and all MEG cared was money rather than quality of work. The painting done is now peeling off and MEG refuses to come back and fixed quite a bit of discrepancies picked up. After paying 90% of their fee was paid, MEG wanted to come and remove goods from our house that had supplied by them and refused to return my keys even after payment was done. They referred to Terms and Conditions, I had never seen or signed.

These guys provided poor services I have ever had and I will not refer them to anyone.
