I used the service of Nexsus interiors to revamp my kitchen. After quick service to give me a quote and me accepting the quote for kitchen cupboards and granite tops I was told to pay 60% of the quote which I did and a date was established. On day 1 of the renovation all went well. Day 2 they couldn't carry on due to factory issues, day 3 I was told that I had to pay the granite separately which was not originally discussed. I had now essentially paid for the cupboards in full and work was not completed on the cupboards. I was forced to pay for the granite tops and until today 3 months later my kitchen cupboards are not completed. After numerous calls, SMS (of which many were not returned) the owner of the company tells us he cannot help it that we do not like the work and no longer wants to deal with us. The company has our money and we have to spend additional money to have the work fixed. What does a person do to get the service you have paid for? I will never recommend this company to anyone as the owner is rude and just does not have a unhappy customer. Is the ombudsman the next step?
