Director of Co not taking responsibility to damage

On the morning of 4th March I was driving to work when my brand new car hit a pot hole which resulted in a blowout to my front right hand tyre. After sending a claim to the Johannesburg Roads Agency I found out that there was a water leakage coming from Builders World which had been reported to them by an Inspector. They were told to fix the leak and told they would be fined if this wasnt done. JRA fixed the hole twice as far as I am aware. I contacted Imtiaz Jassat and he told me if I send him all the information he will help me. I sent him a photo, an affidavit, a receipt, a letter from JRA'S legal representative, a letter from my insurance. Imtiaz Jassat has now told me that he is not going to pay me when it is clear that Builders World has been negligent and now not prepared to take responsibilty for the damage done!
