Makita Sales People does not know their product

This is a complaint and a compliment.
I just got off the phone with the rudest woman at Makita Johannesburg. I was inquiring about the cost of the Makita Track Saw. This woman a certified Makita sales rep did not know what a track saw was. I was shocked... Being a carpenter my entire adult life (12 years) I have never met a sales person that does not know what a track saw is... WHAT A JOKE MAKITA JOBURG!!! She then informed me that I don't have an account with her at all because of my area code... She did not have my name or my company's name. I was phoning from a 041 area code but my operation is baked in Joburg.
After everyone on the jobsite stopped laughing... I phoned Makita in Cape Town and spoke to a very competent lady that that new the product the product code and the price by memory. It was a pleasure dealing with Makita Cape Town. It is a pity because all my new tools and machine's will be bought from the very competent and friendly staff at Festool. Makita you should really train your incompetent and impatient staff...
