Red/Purple heap of wood

After posting the previous complaint I opened the furniture and found them to my horror to be shades of dark red to purple in colour not the light brown I ordered. I on 20 May 2013 phoned Hilt and he agreed it's not the colour I ordered. I requested a refund legal terms I cancelled the agreement. He offered to have it re-furbished / re-stained which I am not prepared to accept as this was new and paid for in full and redoing them will bring a whole new set of problems this dark colour cannot be changed to light brown. I have refrained from using Hello Peter as I thought if I act in good faith and not "further damage their good name" this company would also act in good faith and accept their mistake but obviously they do not believe strongly enough in their product to take it back and refund an unhappy customer. After Letter of Demand Hilt offered re-furbishing and grasping at any straw by saying choosing a standard size and colour is personalising the furniture??? I am issuing summons and might be able to contact the Consumer Council (call centre not working), but hopefully I will be able to warn other customers that this company does not take any responsibility for their mistakes
