Carpeting misfortune

On wednesday, 12 June 2013, i placed an order for a carpet to be installed at my house on the friday, 14 June 2013 at 10:00. I was assured that the installers would be there to install my carpet on the day and at the time specified.

On friday, 14 June 2013, i had a missed call from their number at 8:29 am, i phoned them to find out what the issue is, they told me that the installer had made other arrangements with another client in hout bay and would only be able to make it to me at 12:00. This would not do as i had re-arranged my entire day to accommodate the installation and moved clients to the afternoon for meetings.

I was and am extremely angry at this lack of service, where promises were made and verbal agreements done and then builders warehouse just decided to not keep up their end of the bargain.

To top it all off, the installer called me on the 15 June 2013 only to laugh at me when i said that he was supposed to be at my place on the Friday at 10:00.
When he did arrive on the Saturday, after the install was finished, he hadn't tided up after himself and told me to sign to say i was satisfied with the install. No checking done.
