Taking clients deposits and not delivering

Mr Xoliso Ntamo and Thabo Lehakoe representing Two Ships Trading 173 was contracted to build a Bar area inside our house. A quote totaling of R20, 000 requesting a 50% deposit to commence with the job. We were happy with how he presented the concept to us and accepted his quote. On payment of the deposit he started not taking our calls and making endless excuses of being in meetings. He then sent a carpenter to install cheap cupboards and we haven't heard from him since. He does not answer his phone nor return calls. The carpenter indicated that he has not paid him either for the work he did.
