No Communication, No Delivery

We visited The Bed King after seeing their outdoor sale ads, and promptly bought a mattress within the first 15minutes of being in the store. We were able to organise our own pick-up of the bed, and arranged to do this on the agreed upon day.

They did not properly check and didn't have the bed in stock. Of course, they only found this out AFTER we arrived to fetch it. They organised to get it from their other warehouse the following day. They didn't have it there either - but only found out AFTER they missed that deadline.

It was then being delivered from Cape Town and a new delivery date was set. They missed this, too. I wasn't informed, so I phoned them and found out. The lack of communication is the clear reason why I am so frustrated. A further delivery date was set, and has been missed as well. Is Nathi not capable of picking up the phone and informing me of any of the issues they are facing? No. He is not. All it would have taken is a couple of phone calls to keep me up to date and it would have been much less hassle. He is not even apologetic about his poor performance - and to think that I already paid for the merchandise!
