I called Lexmark (international toll free number) the gentleman went through an update with me but this did not solve the problem. It was ascertained that my print head was faulty. I was asked for my physical address and a new print head plus a set of ink cartridges were delivered to my door. My machine is no longer under guarantee.
I am very grateful for such excellent service.
