Uber sought to rip off responsible revelers with their 'surge pricing'. You cannot send an email out on the day of new years eve nor expect us to necessarily get drilled R880 for 6kms. Maybe a confirmation sms or driver confirming price would be nice regardless of us confirming acknowledgement of surge pricing. You have lost my business and that of company. You could have done a great PR reversal and offered vouchers as goodwill. What disgusting service.
