Harassed by Telephone

I have received numerous calls to my landline at home, late at night, from what sounded like a fax machine. I eventually had to unplug my phone.

I have a seriously injured son in hospital, so by unplugging my phone leaves me very worried and unable to sleep properly in case the hospital tries to contact me.

I called Telkom to find out if there is a way to block unwanted and annoying calls. Unfortunately there is not, but they were kind enough to provide me with the Company's name and details. They said it is a modem line.

I then phoned Dimension Data and the Receptionist had no idea what to do, then put me through to an extension number, which rang and rang and then I had to leave a voice message. I have had no reply and find this very distressing, as I see there are many many more people that have been harassed by this number company - 011 205 8000
