I work in retail and find it very disparaging that there is no site that allows the staff of retail stores to comment on how they get treated by customers. With everyone so focused on customer service they tend to forget that the staff in these stores are humans too. I've seen a staff member get spat on by an old lady, I've been sworn at and shouted at just for trying to help customers before. We can't fight back for fear of losing our jobs. It's a cultural thing in this country, when you don't get your way, scream and shout. How would people react if they were treated the same as they treat others? Some complaints are valid, I agree, but lots are just sour grapes because customers don't listen when spoken to. We treated badly, with sarcasm and worse.
