My name is stephanie,

i took out a laptop contract at russels brakpan. First of all i waited about a month for my laptop to finaly arrive. After numerous phone calls i made to the supplier i finaly received my Toshiba laptop.

I had my laptop for aprocstintly 3 days when i relized some of my keyboard buttons are not working. I didnt use my laptop for anything cause i didnt have microsoft office on the laptop. So i took my laptop back to russels, they need to send it back to supplier.

So i phoned russels and they phoned toshiba, after about 2 weeks i got my first phone call and feedback, which according to toshiba its liquid damage and that they will send me a quote for the damage. I did explain to them that it cant be cause i switched it on maybe twice, and that was it. They did send a quote saying i have to pay in R600. But they will take it up with my insurance.

Its been almost 2 months and everytime i phone them they've got a different story.

Today i received an email telling me i should pay a R892 before they even touch my laptop.

This is unacceptable. I will not pay for something thats not my fault.
