Terrible brakes - almost went off the raod

We rented a Toyota Quantum from Europecar from 11April to 14 April.

Friday afternoon, 12 April, the car started showing signs of trouble. From the 13th of April the car was in serious trouble.

The brakes were giving us huge problems. It sounded and most times felt as though there were no brakes. It basically sounded as though it was metal on metal, as though all the brake pads were depleted.

On our way home Saturday night around 21h00 we almost went off the road due to the brakes not working.

We were 9 people in the car, 8 friends and one driver. All of our lives were put in danger due to the brakes not working like they should.

Thankfully we arrived safely at the airport, but our trip was not what it was supposed to be. We all felt unsafe whenever we were on the road and we had to keep the driving to the minimum.

This sort of service and quality is totally unacceptable.
How can you expect us to pay for a car like that?

Europcar needs to service their cars regularly - we all could have lost our lives this weekend and it would have been due to Europcar's negligence.
This should be stopped before someone actually gets killed.
