Apathetic response and unreasonableness re billing

My car cost R7 600 to repair. It was ready today (after a week). I had to borrow money from a friend. They wouldn't accept her giving the credit card details over the phone (she phoned them directly). They wouldn't accept me bringing her card in with her pin number which she gave me. They don't accept cheques. I simply cannot DRAW over R7 000 in one day. When she suggested doing an EFT they still refuse to let me submit proof of payment - they will only release my car once the money reflects in their account - unheard of in business.
The receptionist also told me it was "too far" for their courtesy driver to drive to Melville (they are in Northcliff) to assist me to get to my car. I have a job that requires daily travelling and am spending in excess of R300 a day just to get to work (now further inconvenienced as I have to wait two extra days til the EFT officially clears). I'm a trade journalist and many of my appointments are near the airport. Btw, I've had my clutch kit replaced by them 3 times in two years - they blame my driving. I've been driving for over 23 years, first time in my life I've had to replace a clutch kit that many times with less than 10 000 km on my clock.
