No contact to arrange for delivery

I requested an upgrade through MTN's Retentions departrment on the 2nd of April. I was assured that I would be contacted by RTT to arrange for delivery. It was important that I be contacted as I am out of the office quite regularly, and I stressed this to MTN. I was assured that that would be arranged. On Friday, 5 April, a delivery was attempted, but because I wasn't contacted to arrange delivery time, there was noone that could take delivery! This, I found out on Monday morning, the 8th, after a collegue told me.

Why wasn't I contacted??? Both before delivery and after when delivery wasn't successful??? How come this delivery was? It's nothing something out of the ordinary? It's a bog standard delivery!!!

This is really very poor service!!
