Bad delivery arrangements

I ordered a new phone via FNB's online banking service. I was promptly contacted by an operator confirming that my application was successful and my device of choice is on the way. The delivery company, Enginuity, then contacted me to arrange delivery. I am a technician who is always on site and rarely in the same place more than 1 hour. I tried to arrange with the company that I pick the device up at FNB but they convinced me that that's against policy. Later that week I then took half the day off for delivery, I then called them on the day and they said that delivery address had not been confirmed after I had arranged with them. I made other arrangements that the device be delivered the following Monday at mother's place and that she would be receiving the parcel on my behalf. They somehow came the Friday before when she wasn't there. The Monday she waited the whole day but no delivery. I called them lots of times and spoke to at least three different people but still no delivery. So now they want to arrange a third delivery date. I read at least two more complaints about this company. I understand that FNB is not delivering the item but how involved are they in the process?
