My fairly new POLO, ND 4620 2012 1.4 with 52000kms on the clock has been cutting off whilst driving over the last few months. It then refuses to start and has to be towed to VW Alpine. Alpines fidgets, gets a temp fix and off we go again. This is very unsafe and highly frustrating. So when it happend to me again yesterday morning while onroute to work, naturally i was upset and insisted on speaking to the tech who handled my car previously. I get to Bronwyn who insists on listening to my issue and then insists on me calling VWSA for roadside assistance. I know the procedure. I say to the woman that I understand but want to speak to the tech who handled my car the previous week. Bronwyn again, insists that i cannot speak to the tech or a manager as the manager is busy with meet and greets for the morning book-ins. Hello!!! Whats more important - Customer stuck on the road with his wife in car asking for assistance or "meet and greets"?... so much for listening to your client's needs. I insisted on leaving a message for the manager and then proceeded to call VW SA. Needless to say - the car is now at Barons.
