My son Renier took his car to Westrand panelbeater (WPB) on the 11 feb for a respray. The car was booked in by Frans and it was said it will take 3-4 weeks. So he he borrowed my car. He phoned Dail direct on 12 March to find out about progress on his car. They would email WPB. My son went to WPB on 13 march to see if they pogress of work on his car no job ticket was made and windcreen wiper squirter was gone. Car was standing in the sun and rain in the open no protection where at home it was kept in a garage. My son went back on the 19 March to see if anything has been done to the car yet stil no job ticket. They said they need authorisation and blamed Global Hail. We went to WPB on the 26 March to find out about his car stil no job ticket was made. I spoke to Mark the owner I was very upset about all he inconvenience. He was very rude and said we should take the car he can not respray it for the amount that Dial Direct authorised and because my insurance was not doing their job. Why would they take a car if they dont have autorisation? Why not phone the client about it instead of keeping it for 6 weeks and doing nothing and causing inconvenience to client?
